Another sleep-talker and it's finally getting through

So, my last post mentioned a lot of the words Simon is saying frequently. By far, the word that comes out of his mouth most is, "Tah!" (car). He stands on the bed to look for "tah, tah!," he peers out of the window on the stairs to find a "tah!" and he loves to walk outside and look at the "tah, tah!" Well, night before last, I settled next to Simon at his 11 pm wake-up, and just after he fell into a slumber, he adjusted himself, and suddenly shouted out, "tah! tah!" Then, kept right on sleeping peacefully.

Last weekend weekend we had some friends who have a 4 year old and a baby over for dinner, and the kids were playing with Simon. Noah turned to Lily and said very emphatically and in his teaching voice, "Lily, you have to look at his face. If he makes a bad face, that means you have to stop." That says everything I've been trying to get him to understand in a nutshell!

Simon and Noah are having great fun playing together in the evenings. They have a bath together, and the last couple of nights have invented a game where Simon throws his hands down, telling Noah (standing up) to suddenly drop down. Noah does it, making a big splash, to Simon's delight. They of course have to do this repeatedly. Then, they move to our bed, where I try to get pajamas on the two of them, while they jump, laugh, and play. It is really delightful to hear that chorus of laughter!
